Easter Interior Decor - such a great time for colourful decorations!

With a follow on from THIS post... These are my favourite style of Easter / Spring Wreaths to make. They are so cute and fun but still stylish. I think Easter decor can become a little saccharin and maybe too cutesy - which is fine, if you like that, or if you have children you want to beguile. But when the family is older, I still like to mark an occasion, a celebration with lovely Spring Decoration scheme. Nature is just the best source of inspiration. I have quite a few Camellia in the garden and they are, quite simply, my favourite flower of Spring. I look forward to their arrival and always pray they don't get browned in the frost or drowned in April Showers. This is my favourite of all my Camellia - possibly because they look like hibiscus! Annnnnnd I love all the Easter Craft supplies that are in the shops. Make a Stunning Easter Spring Wreath : Bunny Bunny Bunny...

I don't think there is an occasion when a wreath isn't called for. It's such an iconic Home Decor piece. For Interiors or Exteriors, whichever you choose. I love an interior wreath as it makes a lovely seasonal change up to your home. Marking the change in seasons or for celebrations... it helps make my home feel transitional and not stagnant or boring. I like to keep changing things and marking time. My mum loves an exterior door wreath. She has a large sheltered porch, so her wreaths can hang on her front door quite safely, sheltered from the weather. I made this wreath for her actually. Pink Interiors… Forever Valentines.

February - Does anyone really DO Valentines anymore? Like it used to be? I remember being in school and Valentine was a hoot! We'd send anonymous cards or just letters / notes, telling that sexy Other that we thought they were wayyy cute but we didn't sign it so we got to avoid the very real pain of vulnerability and school ground ridicule. I'll never forget Anthony who signed his with a teeeeny tiiiny biro drawing of an ANT, in the bottom right corner. I never told him - OBVS - he was not the boy for me, as sweet as he was.
